The Bible Diet

40 Days To Cleanliness

The Bible Diet is a way to improve physical and spiritual health, while reducing the suffering of factory-farmed animals and improving the world food supply. This 40-day eating plan is based on the first chapter of Daniel from The Holy Bible and the original Lenten fast, making this one of the most original diet plans to be found anywhere.

Health journalist Rosemary Sue Ellis presents a healthy alternative to help people save themselves from Junk Food Armageddon. Even if the reader does not strictly follow the diet, they will enjoy the interpretation of scriptures.

The foods prescribed on this eating program are seasonal, natural, and wholesome. There is no need to count calories or fat grams. Instead, the dieters eat according to the colors of nature.

It will be a healing for your flesh and a refreshment for your body.
-Proverbs 3:8

"The Bible Diet: 40 Days to Cleanliness" makes a great gift for either Christmas or Easter because both of these holidays are based on the Holy Bible. Each chapter of this diet book begins and ends with Scripture making it a wonderful Bible study aid. This is a great book to read around the New Year when people start self-improvement programs. Many people need to lose weight and cleanse themselves after much holiday feasting. Also, reading this 200-page paperback book during the New Year will help a person prepare for the Lenten season. Foods prescribed on The Bible Diet are colorful, nutritious and healing. Dieters may eat an abundance of natural fruits, vegetables, whole grains, herbs, and spices. These foods cleanse and nourish our bodies. Buy this for yourself or give this as a gift.

“Happy are those who find wisdom, and those who get understanding, for her income is better than silver, and her revenue better than gold.”

Worldwide disasters, both natural and man-made, seem to be at an all time high.
Reports of floods, earthquakes, famines, fires and disease overshadow the bad
news of man-made wars.  All of these problems were predicted in the Bible.

The record number of hurricanes, Tsunamis, earthquakes and other natural
disasters are signs that we are living in troubled times. Jesus predicted these
things would happen.
"There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and on the earth
distress among nations confused by the roaring of the sea and the waves,"
 Luke
21:25 NRSV.

The fear of disease is real and dreadful.
The media is now warning people of a possible pandemic from the dreaded Avian
Flu. We are also hearing more about how malaria is killing 2,000 people per day
in Africa. AIDS continues to spread. New viruses are developing while
antibiotics are becoming useless. Jesus warned about this also.
"There will be great earthquakes, and in various places, famines and plagues;
and there will be dreadful portents and great signs from heaven,"
 Luke 21:11.

Much of the famine and spread of disease is the result of war. But Jesus told us
not to be afraid. These things must take place.
"When you hear of wars and insurrections, do not be terrified; for these things
must take place first, but the end will not follow immediately," Luke 21:9

Depression is a growing problem in modern society. Many people are depressed
because of so much bad news. Jesus said this would happen.
"People will faint from fear and foreboding of what is coming upon the world,
for the powers of heaven will be shaken," Luke 21:26

How can The Bible Diet help us survive these problems?
First, it teaches us how to eat simple, inexpensive foods. We can save money and
experience good nutrition even when there are shortages of meat.
Second, this way of eating helps us to share the world food supply. We will be
able to share more food with our brothers and sisters around the globe.
Third, it teaches us how to use herbs for healing, so if we experience shortages
of medicine we will know how to care for ourselves.
Finally, The Bible Diet gives us hope because it teaches that all of our needs
will be satisfied.

Don't wait any longer. Learn how to survive Junk Food Armageddon. Help your
family save money. Eat natural foods and improve your health. Order The Bible
Diet now and read it in time for the next Lenten season.

"Be alert at all times, praying that you may have the strength to escape all
these things that will take place and stand before the Son of Man,"

 Luke 21:36.

before the Son of Man," Luke 21:36.
